Hi! I’m writing an essay about why people have trouble accepting people who identify as asexual and I know it’s a subject you are very passionate about and I was wondering if you could give me few tips on how to get started, I’d really appreciate it :)…
This requires reblogging - follow to Harbek’s post, pls.
See, but the trouble is, now the movies won’t be as adorable as what I know *should* happen when I finally get around to watching them.
African Stereotype of the Day: Gabriel, Benard, Brian, and Derrik, who live in Kenya, were inspired to poke fun at the way African men are portrayed by Hollywood: “If people believed only what they saw in movies,” they said, “they would think we are all warlords who love violence.” Mama Hope — an organization that partners with African organizations to help transform their communities — was more than happy to hand them a mic as part of a video campaign to “Stop the Pity, Unlock the Potential.”
WE’RE TALKING TO YOU, SHIRTLESS MATHEW MCCANAUGHEY!
I love it. Perfection, sheer perfection.
I love this.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate this? Excellent.
This is fantastic, and I know this is stupid, but I always forget how much I love accents like this. Usually I’m all “OH BRITS”, but damn these guys just seem like people I want to be friends with.
Oh right. That’s supposed to be the message :)
WE SHOOT OUR MACHINE GUNS FROM TRUCKS.
Sadly, they’re right. That is the extent of African men’s roles in Hollywood movies. GDI.
[over-enthusiatic pflag mother meme (featuring debbie from QAF on a rainbow background). TOP: Trans? You’re not my son anymore BOTTOM: You’re my daughter!]
Doctor Who and Adventure Time crossover. A collab between Spoofmaster and me. She drew the lines, I did the colours. For the record, I roleplay Ten and she plays Handy. They are adorable.
Look, a thing! I done drew that, but harbek made it all fancy.
why do people feel the need to conflate every criticism of steven moffat and his writing with not liking what he’s doing with doctor who, or as attacks on his love for doctor who? i love series five—i love almost everything about it, expect for how…
I think Moffat is a good writer. I just don’t think he’s a good person, and the former does not excuse the latter.
